I was writing a blog with more detail, but my computer froze as I was moving the mouse towards submit.....so now I'm not in much of a mood for a long blog.

Best Game Ending

Mass Effect and Persona 3.

Both had great endings and the moments leading up to the end were exciting. Persona 3 gets a bonus point for being one of the few games I really enjoyed lately that did not have a cliff hanger ending (Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Rainbow Six Vegas, Command and Conquer, Crackdown, The Orange Box, etc). For people that didn't like Persona 3's ending and thought it was sad, it was a lot happier than the other Persona games. Though Mass Effect's ending was somewhat of a cliffhanger you still saved the day and took care of the villains, you finished the fight, blew up your Death Star, and dealt with your Agent Smith. For now, at least. (Let's just hope the second Mass Effect doesn't end up like the second Matrix movie)

Worst Ending

Bioshock. I'm not a fan of the gameplay, but damn, the ending of the game is what I really didn't like. Running around looking for parts to a costume that is annoying to wear, fighting one of the stupidest and easiest final boss battles of the year (at least you could die), then a short and boring cutscene. Unlike Mass Effect and Persona, where the story got better and better and then had an exciting conclusion, Bioshock lost almost all of the fun near the end and then had a boring ending.

Most Idiotic Slow Motion Death

Griggs (Call of Duty 4)

Seriously, what the hell was he thinking. "Don't worry buddy, I'll pull you out into the middle of a firefight to burden myself and let them know that you are still alive. Dammit, this isn't working."

At least it wasn't as bad as Kim's in Gears of War.

Most Disappointing Delay

MY CO-OP GAMES. I have the most fun while playing co-op or working with a friend in multiplayer. The only game I really got to do that with this year is with GRAW 2. Left 4 Dead, Army of Two, Splinter Cell 5, and Mercenaries 2 were all delayed.

Biggest Disappointments

Kane and Lynch having no online co-op. I no longer really cared once I actually played the game.
Shadowrun not getting any new content or updates

Meeting Andrew Ryan (Bioshock) (WINNER)

Giving you that Badass Feeling

Call of Duty 4. Turning on the slow motion to score some quick headshots, saving the hostage on veteran in under a minute, knifing people, getting four kills with a pistol while in last stand mode,letting everyone know who has the 10 kill streak in multiplayer, etc. If you are good at it, or just luckly, Call of Duty 4 has the potential to make you feel like a badass.

Turian C-Sec (Police), after watching you shoot a guy who was trying to blackmail you in a public place: "Good work. Maybe the first human Spectre won't be such a disappointment.

Call of Duty 4

Gaz, while opening a door for you, Price, and Griggs, while in another part of the base: "Got it. Doors coming online now."
Griggs: "Oh, you gotta be ***ting me."
Price: "Gaz, can't you make it open faster?"
Gaz: "Negative, sir. But you can try pulling it if it makes you feel better."
Price: "...Cheeky bastard."

Biggest Suprise of 2007

The British kicking ass in a Call of Duty game.

Most Annoying Phrase

Anything with, "dance with the angels", in it. (Ace Combat 6)

Still Annoying

Almost all female and child voice actors on any game not going for realism in its look.
