nascar 08 is fun beautiful graphics but no 2 players sept online witch 2 player is one the reason i bought the game so i could show my dad up with out pissing him off and sometimes he beats me which is fun online to small only 16 people why not the whole field of 42 that would be fun but there are no new stuff and there are some down grades so if you want it i would stick to 06 and 07 there are alot better.

I know 09 comes out in June and it's supposed to be the first true next gen (or current gen now) NASCAR game.  I'm not a big NASCAR fan, but I love racing games.  I tried out the demo and thought it was horrible, but from what you described it sounds like they fixed a lot of the problems I had with it.  42 cars would be awesome.
