The Wait Is Over...

The sequel to my favorite Original Xbox game is now out. Yes, I'm talking about Ninja Gaiden II. I'm currently on Chapter 3 and loving it. It's quite a bit faster than the original and the storytelling hasn't transitioned as good between chapters as the first one.

I wasn't able to pick it up at launch since I was relaxing by the ocean. But when I finish the game, I plan on writing a comparison and review of the series.

I'm wanting to look up so many things in this game as well. Such as the Crystal Skull locations and what exactly the gold rod I got in the village is used for. But I don't want the game/story spoiled. So what I plan on doing is running through on "Warrior" for the first go and see what I learn, then go back for all the extras. I'm sure I'll beat the game a few dozen times, like I did with the first one.

Yeah, the Rod of Trials. Apparently, it's used for the tests of valor. By doing those, you get some cool *** if you survive.

I thought I was the only one who liked the original NG on Xbox.  That was the single only reason why I bought my Xbox.  If NG had not come out last gen, I probably would never had bought it.
