BC and Joysticks

I finally got to play Bad Company online for a couple of hours last night.  I played a few matches as recon because I was a great sniper in Modern Combat.  Boy, this game does not favor the sniper class.  To top it off, everyone and their dog is a sniper and just sits in one spot for the entire match (even if they get killed).  So eventually I said *** it and tried some of the other classes.  I hope to finish off my class tour tonight and practice with my favorite one (which so far seems to be Specialist).

 On an unrelated note, if anybody has any suggestions for good joysticks, I'd appreciate it.  The main application will be casual flight sims, but occasionally combat sims as well.  I've been looking at the X52 but haven't made up my mind yet. http://www.saitekusa.com/USA/prod/x52.htm

Right now I'm using a 10 year old Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 that is really starting to show its age.
