I love the 360 as a gaming system, but right now MS is really starting to ***ing piss me off.  Fucking cheap ass bastards.  This is my 3rd or 4th 360 to ring on me.  Fucking bull***. 

 Not even sure if I'm gonna send this one in to MS.  Might just send it to my friend and have him do some repair work on it. 

 /end pissed off rant.

Should I send it into MS and hope for the new mobo and better parts or just send it to a friend who would fix the xclamp and whatever else may be wrong with it?

Send it in and let them fix it. Chances are you'll get the new mobo. Plus, it is free and if you bitch enough and say what are you going to do to compensate me for my troubles, you'll get a free game or something too.

I'm in the same boat and feel pretty much the same way. I agree with Jayce though, let them fix it for you if it's going to be free, and give them enough *** that they give you free stuff for your trouble. Mine should be back today or tomorrow, and if I didn't get the new guts, I'm trading mine in towards one of the 60g versions.

Sorry to hear that man - go ahead and send it back to MS if it's still under warranty. Let 'em fix it for you - maybe you can guilt them into giving you something free. You should get it back fairly quick and you want to have that bad boy back before Force Unleashed hits! It's gonna be a busy Fall so make 'em get that thing back in shape for ya :)
