Across the Universe

So I've come to the conclusion that I need to blog more.  I realize some of you enjoy reading about my action packed spytastic lifestyle, so be it!

We finally went and saw Across the Universe on Friday.  What an amazing movie.  We are planning on seeing it again tomorrow night.  Go see it if you haven't.

We also went to see Pat Monahan, who is the lead singer of Train.  He just released his solo album.  It was a lot of fun and one of the best shows I've seen.  Indeed this weekend was full of awesome-ness all around!

Sunday was also my dad's birthday so we went to breakfast and went back to their house to play the Wii that they got (that I am still sadly without ).  But I am asking for a Wii and PS3 for Christmas so I can have the full gaming spectrum.

Although I'm a little pissed at my PC right now.  I've been playing the Flight Sim games since FS98 and absolutely love them.  I picked up Flight Simulator X a couple of weeks ago.  I installed it and I kept getting an error at the splash screen saying "this program needs to shut down" or some *** like that.  Finally after spending a whole weekend working on my PC (which is a month old mind you and has more than enough power to run it), and missing the Chromehounds CGN, I restored the whole computer and it worked!  Then I installed my Zune software and a couple of other things and now I'm back at square one.  I don't want to get rid of my Zune software since it has all my music right now.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

But despite of my PC giving me ***, it has allowed my to get a little work done.  I'm currently co-writing a feature film, writing a short that I will shoot at the beginning of the year.  And producing a short film.  So really, it is busy at the moment, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

The 360 has gotten a lot of attention as well.  I got Halo 3, PGR4, Stuntman: Ignition, and The Orange Box that I just got in the past month or so.  And I still need to get through Stranglehold.  I will be adding Guitar Hero III soon.  I need to get through as many as I can before Assassin's Creed is released since I know that will suck up most of my time.  And then especially before Christmas and when I get Mass Effect.  I love me some RPG's.  I never thought I'd say this, but there are too many damn games!

Finally I'd like to give a small memorial section to my wife's car that finally died today:  We will not miss that hunk of scrap metal.

So we are on a car search, she wants a small to mid-size SUV (like a CRV or a Jeep Compass style/size).  If you know of any good ones that are under $15,000 let us know.

Off to the in laws in Utah next weekend.  To face my evil sister in law .
