DATE: 09/18/2008 01:21:23 / MOOD: lollercoaster (happy)

OK after many months of me not being on this website i felt kinda different then i normal do in some strange way that i can't explain. Now i remember that what really made me into a friendly gamer over xbox live was that i will always come here to show how people were doing and such...

I remember how i will always buy Silver an Cynn the first day i went on this site. I used to ask Silver for "HIS REVIEWS " because every thing he said about the game i ask for a review was always right. Now with Cynn i used to just bug him like if it was the thing to do.

I guess what am trying to say is that you will be seeing me a lot more now.

What happened to Halo 3!!!!
DATE: 05/09/2008 23:10:10 / MOOD: Aggro (mad)

What happened to Halo 3? When it came out it was great, then I got Call of Duty 4, for a while I would still say Halo is better, but eventually CoD4 just became better and Xbox live proves it. Now of course, GTA IV comes out and just destroys both. Now, I think there is two parts to this problem. Bungie not making new ways of fun on its multiplayer and it stupid ranking system and the fact that its only stupid kids who play this game... and they are horrible at it. I got a 13 yrs old cousin, who should be doing homework cause his grades are horrible and he swears that this is the greatest game ever... and he doesn't even have Xbox 360 or Halo 3 or any Halo for that matter, he has played it sparingly and the only thing he knows about Halo is those sh*tty A$$ web shows "Master Chief sucks at Halo"... Come to think of it, I think the young punks online ruined Halo for me more than the online ranking system. What do you guys think?

my friend Johny had to say this

"Halo 3 still is great, and its multiplayer is still absolutely fantastic. I mean, Bungie really revolutionized multiplayer with the Forge feature. If you ask me, Call of Duty 4 seems boring to me; there doesn't seem to be a lot of great things in it like H3 does. No drivable vehicles in CoD4 multiplayer, no man cannons, no duel wielding, and no interesting explosion deaths that can splash you into a river and watch yourself float away or watch your body spin into a bottomless pit. But of course, any other CoD4 fan would disagree with me."

Don't get me wrong people i love COD4 just as they next guy but dont play it as much. As soon as GTA VI came out it just ate up the online game play for both games. yet another reason why not to get GTA VI.... what a sham

P.S. i just find a great tool called..

'Spell Check" you all must get it. its a must get tool for the Internet

Lets not forget The Last Remnant.
DATE: 04/27/2008 17:35:30 / MOOD: Aggro (mad)

At a recent media event in Japan, Square Enix president Yoichi Wada unveiled the "Square Enix RPG for the world," which according to Wada will "become a cornerstone for our worldwide strategy." He went on to add that "Square Enix RPGs are in a league of their own, and in a world of new technology, we need to expand our portfolio, and The Last Remnant is a brand new franchise being designed by a new generation of developers, scheduled for a simultaneous U.S./Japan release." Okay then.

During the presentation, a brief trailer -- using footage pulled from the game's Unreal Engine 3-powered visuals -- showed bump-mapped trees, detailed character models, and sharp background animation, all running in real time. The scene began with a young man wondering aloud "Damn, where is she?," a query which would soon be punctuated by the sounds of soldiers shouting, heavy drums and music, and a young man running to the edge of the clearing before stumbling upon an unfolding skirmish.

The sight of the two massive armies approaching each other was reminiscent of both Ninety-Nine Nights' large-scale battles and Star Wars: Episode One's epic Gungan showdown with the Trade Federation's droid army. With both human and inhuman soldiers (one race looked like wolf people) charging towards each other, our man on the hill saw the woman he was looking for, racing down to the field shouting "Marina!!!"

With that the trailer ended, and a real-time demonstration began. Using an overhead map, producer Nobuyuki Ueda cycled through a number of destination points. Once he chose one, the game quickly loaded up a 3D environment looking similar to the opening city from Final Fantasy XII. Using a free-look camera, Ueda scanned the area to show off the immense amount of detail. After that he went into a dungeon area, in which a transparent map in the upper right corner made itself visible, and all battles took place between the character and the easily-seen monsters onscreen. The Last Remnant will not suffer from random battles, which should please more than a few gamers.

While the framerate was occasionally choppy in areas during the presentation, the game is early in development, and yet, based on what was shown, quite accomplished-looking, with gorgeous architecture and detail in the environments. A scene in the aqueducts beneath the city was slightly reminiscent of the sewer areas from Final Fantasy XII, but there is seemingly no relation between Last Remnant and the Final Fantasy continuity. The aqueduct area featured some nice, bump-mapped water effects, random treasure chests, and impressive detail in the rocky mountainside. Another area shown was an open plain, filled with creepy-looking monsters (large in size), cool lighting effects (sun shining through 3D clouds), and swirling dust effects.

Hiroshi Takai, the game's director, took to the podium at the presentation and explained that players will be able to use simple commands to control enormous amounts of characters at one time, introducing large-scale battles to RPGs. A sample battle revealed a lifebar to indicate the relative 'health' of the opposing armies (labeled 'allies' and 'enemies'). The success of character attacks seems to be based on timing, as onscreen button prompts (think quicktime events from Shenmue) compel the gamer to press the appropriate button. Depending on your skill, a different declaration will fill the screen, like 'Rear Assault!' or 'Terminated!'

At the end of the presentation, the demo battle revealed a huge monster augmenting the enemy forces, which tilted the lifebar heavily in the enemies' favor, since they suddenly had a strong new ally on their side. With that, a new selection of menu choices appeared, revealing that while this is a new initiative that Square Enix is banking on, the game is still rooted in old-school RPG mechanics and values.

The Last Remnant is unique for Square Enix in that it's multiplatform for both PS3 and Xbox 360. No release date has been set.

Dealing with Offensive Players

The Internet in general allows for all manner of communications, unfortunately some of it can be negative.
