Check it with its manufacturing date of 6-19-08, my dogs are:) And they give you the chatpad headset with the in-line controls instead of the old standard. Oh, the HDD has a bar code on it as well which is proof to me that it will be sold on its own.
First let me say that I have never owned nor played a Top Spin game. The most for me was Virtua Tennis 1 & 2. That being said, I like this game quite a bit. Is it hard; yes it is. You need good timing with this game but with patience it does pay off. I read some reviews that were negative by professionals who didn't like it only because they sucked at it. It was likened to Ninja Gaiden in that it is really hard but it pays off with practice. Well, I picked it up right away and was able to start playing and feel fairly comfortable in doing so. The tennis school is a really big help as well and is actually needed if you are to play the game. I also love the manual serve with the right stick because you get better and stronger serves if done right. You can go the button route as well, if you aren't brave. So, I say if you like a sim version of tennis and something that actually plays like real tennis then this is for you. That was my 2 cents, here is a review: Top Spin 3 Review. Click Here Oh, and a pic of my guy, Grim Steele. I love the morphing face editor.
Ok, so I am back from Florida and look what I brought with me. A souvenir from Sanibel Island. I apparently forgot the sunscreen on my back. Well, at least Ohio has no sun to make it worse.
I made this on DVD (better quality than the youtube) as a tribute to my
dad and the good memories of him. This is meant to celebrate him and
will be played at his funeral service on Wed. Please let me know what you think of it because it helped me a bit in coping.
So, It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I just got back from the Cleveland Clinic where my dad lost his fight with liver cancer. He fought long and hard since being diagnosed in October of 07 but his battle is now over. Its hard to write this because he was still so young and had so much life to give. I love him very much and as these tears are rolling down my face I am also glad he didn't suffer. My father is my namesake and an avid fisherman and hunter. He was an amazing grandfather and loved them all so much, and was loved very much by them. I don't know what to really say, he was as perverted as you could get and just funny as hell. I love you dad, we'll go on that fishing trip we had planned someday, you just get the pole ready. Rest in peace Dad. I love you.
We had family photos done this weekend. We did it before the cancer takes anymore of my father. You can really see it in his face. But we have never done this so it was due:) Our family photos. Click here.
